Two Helensville Passenger Trains at Waitakere (geoffblackmore on YouTube) 27th November 2011


Sunday 27th November 2011 saw numerous special trains run from Helensville, Waitakere, Swanson or Henderson, into Auckland for the annual Auckland Santa Parade, for Christmas 2011. Four of these trains operated from Helensville, and here we see the first Down Helensville service (powered by DCP 4945) arriving in Waitakere, while an Up Helensville service (powered by DC 4916) waits in the loop to depart.
