World Heritage Sites - Semmering Railway #01(TVGreenMagazine) 26th November 2011



The Semmering Railway or Ghega line follows a beautiful route through the Austrian Alps. Built between 1848 and 1854, the railway represented a triumph of civil engineering for the time. Officially designated by UNESCO as World Heritage Site, this site is to be safeguarded for the future as a testimony to its enduring past.
