Some 200 exhibitors are now making their final preparations to welcome visitors to Infrarail 2012, the UK's showcase for rail infrastructure systems, products and services, which takes place at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham from 1 to 3 May.
Participating companies include leading suppliers of track products, signalling and communications equipment, railway civil engineering needs and much more, with many new products on show. Making a visit to the ninth Infrarail event is worthwhile, due to an extensive supporting programme that includes free seminars with high-profile keynote speakers, panel discussions, an awards dinner and numerous networking opportunities.

Rail Power Europe
Rail operators and infrastructure managers in Europe have committed to a dramatic reduction in carbon emissions by 2050. Deutsche Bahn, SBB, ProRail and more are amongst the companies employing new technologies and strategies to optimise energy efficiency on their networks. The rail industry will come together at Rail Power Europe in Berlin this June to discuss these strategies and share their ideas.
Rail Power Europe will bring together strategic and technical functions from operators, train manufacturers, transport authorities, government bodies and their partners to outline strategies to reach sustainable transport targets. If you want to learn how to reduce your carbon footprint, optimise your energy management and unlock the potential of new technologies, you need to attend Rail Power Europe from 26 to 27 June 2012, at Maritim proArte Hotel, Berlin, Germany.
