The "Railway Engineering: A Springboard to a Closer Partnership between 1520 & 1435" conference opens in Berlin today as part of the InnoTrans 2012 international transport logistics exhibition. The conference will discuss collaboration between Russian and European companies in the field of railway engineering and how to establish some common technical standards between the 1520 and 1435 zones. Russian Railways will be represented at the conference by Senior Vice President Valentin Gapanovich.
