IRJ at InnoTrans 2012: TRENITALIA's German regional transport subsidiary Netinera signed a contract worth around €300m with Alstom at InnoTrans on September 19 for the supply of 63 Coradia Lint regional dmus


IRJ at InnoTrans 2012: GERMAN Rail (DB) and MTU are displaying a hybrid variant of the Siemens Class 642 dmu at the InnoTrans outside track area which is described by DB as its first converted hybrid rail vehicle for public operations.

IRJ at InnoTrans 2012: STADLER's double-deck Kiss emu features prominently in the outdoor display area at InnoTrans, with trains for two customers on display.

MTU to supply 250 diesel powerpacks for Hitachi Super Express Trains Hitachi Rail Europe has awarded a €200m contract to Tognum subsidiary MTU to supply 250 700kW diesel powerpacks for its future high-speed Super Express trains under the UK's Intercity Express Programme (IEP). 
                   
SNCF to use Kilfrost Rail Plus anti-icing product on TGV trains
Kilfrost, a provider of de-icing fluids, has received approval from France's state-owned rail company SNCF to use its Rail Plus product on TGV network's fleet of high-speed trains. 
      
Alstom to supply 63 Coradia Lint regional trains to Netinera Deutschland
Alstom has won a €300m contract from Netinera Deutschland, the German subsidiary of the Italian group Ferrovie dello Stato (FS), to deliver 63 Coradia Lint regional trains. 
      
Thales to supply SelTrac CBTC system for Nanjing airport rail link
Thales SAIC Transportation System has won a €33m contract to supply its SelTrac communications-based train control (CBTC) signalling system to the 35.8km Nanjing Airport rail link in China.
