Preparations underway for Mallard 75
Bittern passes through Colton Junction ahead of Mallard 75 celebrations. You can book your place onto one of three special services where this fantastic loco will be running at speeds of up to 90mph on the East Coast Main Line. We took delivery of the cab from a High Speed Train today (13 June 2013). It will be used in our upcoming art gallery exhibition 'It's Quicker by Rail' which looks at how rail companies have used the theme of speed to promote rail travel.
