Current China: Crowded Railway Station for 3.3 Billion Spring Festival Travels (2012 春运） (peacefulpacific on YouTube) 20th January 2012

Spring Festival is the most important holidays for 1.4 Billion Chinese. During the 40 days from January 8 to February 16, estimated 3.3 Billion travels will happen. Each year the spring festival travel sets a new record for human migration, which is a heavy test for transportation systems in China.

Since this year, passengers can book train tickets online. However, for most of 6000+ railway stations, ticket selling windows are still very crowded.
