Bombardier research shows high-speed trains are viable on Sweden's rail networkA group of Swedish researchers, supported by Bombardier, have found that new-generation trains with higher speeds, lower energy consumption, reduced noise and lower costs can run on the existing track network.       
                   
Turkish Railways awards signalling contract to Invensys RailTurkish State Railways (TCDD) has awarded a €76m contract to a joint venture between Invensys Rail and Turkish company Fermak to install European rail traffic management signalling and communications system (ERTMS) on the Bandirma-Menemen railway.
