THE WINTER CUMBRIAN MOUNTAIN EXPRESS
BR Britannia Class 7MT 4-6-2 No.70013 Oliver Cromwell

The Winter Cumbrian Mountai n Express, with traction provided by 70013 Oliver Cromwell, is running today...

The steam hauled section of the London Euston-Carlisle-London Euston trip  is from Carlisle, over the Settle and Carlisle, to Farington Junction. Then Class 86 electric traction booked back to Euston.

Hopefully, photographers will be out in the most sceneic locations to get a glimpse..and more, hopefully..

We shall look forward to seeing the first efforts here,and on Steam Tube......!!
