Netherlands sets fines; China aids African railway
The Netherlands' minister of infrastructure has decided to impose fines on both Netherlands Railways (NS) and infrastructure manager Prorail for failing to reach the level of performance stipulated in their concession agreements.

China has injected roughly $66.2 million into Tanzania-Zambia Railway Authority (Tazara) to rehabilitate infrastructure and improve operations.
