22 Days to Railfest 2012 11th May 2012

22  British Rail Class 55...with the Napier Deltic engine, appears.
Built for the East Coast Mainline, they  were effectively the main traction on this route until 1978 when they were displaced by Inter City 125s.
22 of the class were built.

Several are in preservation.......
