A Day Out at Longleat! (Sean Dudden on Steam Tube) 9th May 2012
A 15'' inch gauge railway that is situated on the home estate of the 7th Marquess of Bath.
Longleat House was the first stately home that opened its doors to the public in 1964. It First opened by the 6th Marquess of Bath in 1949.
In 1966 the safari park was opened. The grounds and garden have features designed by Capability Brown "the last of the great English eighteenth-century artists to be accorded his due"
He designed over 170 parks, many of which still endure.
