SURVEYOR MAGAZINE COLD COMFORT CONFERENCE 2012 (transportgovuk)

Transport Minister Norman Baker gave a video address to the Surveyor Winter Conference and Exhibition. In the speech he emphasised the need do everything possible to keep transport infrastructure - both strategic and local roads, rail network, as well as our airports and port facilities - operating as efficiently and safely as possible. He applauded the significant efforts that have already been made to boost resilience and preparedness for possible severe winter weather, but warned against complacency.
