A study commissioned by Stratford-upon-Avon District Council has shown that there could be potential for re-opening the former route from Honeybourne to Stratford upon Avon to passenger traffic, by upgrading the existing line to storage sidings at Long Marston and re-laying the section from there to Stratford.(www.gwsr.com)
