Total Railway News

Today's news features high speed rail... and it will not go away, however much people in the UK and California may wish it to.

And whilst today features the anniversary of the first stretch of the London Underground, (1863) , and an article recalls the start of the first railway in Malaysia, another country (Kenya) looks forward to getting  a new line , the question is raised about whatever happened to the old one ( a not unfamiliar cry)

Health and safety issues still dog the Canadian system post Lac-Megantic... and concern over health was not evident in building what has become known ,infamously, as the Death Railway.
