Yesterday's storms cause a few problems in the north of the UK... and in the south east, an MP is urging a rail summit to address constant time tabling issues....
And its interesting to note a political pledge to reduce rail and bus fares by 10% ...!
Canada's railroads are under pressure from the agricultural community over not doing enough to move grain..
...and in California, the euphoria of the high speed railway ground breaking is tempered somewhat by a comment or two asking whether the project will be finished without investors' money.
And finally, an excellent documentary from Silk Purse Drama on the railway carriage that is linked by two World Wars...... watch and share....
