The volunteers at the Ribble Steam Railway on Preston Docklands have decided to put the dissapointment of the cancellation of a visit by 'Tornado' behind them and offer an 'Anything Goes' weekend on Saturday & Sunday 26th / 27th May, featuring steam and diesel locomotives working a special 45 minute timetable along the dock and riverside line. To add to the special weekend, the railway are offering a one for all priced ticket of £4 which includes unlimited train rides on the day. The engines will each take turns during the day and visitors will also be able to explore the museum and see the latest projects in the workshop, Doors open at 10am each day. This is a special one off event before the railway run their annual Teddy Bear Specials over the Jubilee Bank Holiday.
