CP seeks conciliation on legacy pension changes
Canadian Pacific has requested the Federal Minister of Labour appoint a conciliator “to assist in progressing discussions on a new agreement, involving legacy pensions, with the union representing the company's Canadian train crew employees and rail traffic controllers.”

Wabtec Corp. Tuesday reported sales of $1.97 billion and GAAP earnings per diluted share of $3.51, both records, for 2011.

The Surface Transportation Board has announced that it will hold a public hearing March 22 “to explore the impact of the Berkshire Hathaway, Inc. acquisition of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corp. on certain costing determinations.”
