Pakistan steps up passenger rail repairs
Pakistan's federal minister for railways inaugurated 14 new coaches added to the Karachi-Lahore Karakoram Express service at Karachi Cantonment station on March 30. These are part of new fleet of 55 coaches recently imported by CNR Changchun, China, the first tranche of an overall order placed in 2011 by Pakistan Railways (PR) for 202 Chinese-built coaches.
