On Saturday April 28th, Italy’s first private very high speed rail operator, Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori (NTV), entered officially into commercial service. NTV is now offering trips to the cities of Naples, Rome, Florence, Bologna and Milan. The network will be extended to Salerno, Turin and Venice at at a later stage.
